This Policy applies to purchases through Disty websites, applications and authorised sales channels. It shall be read together with the Terms and Conditions for Using the Disty Platform and the Privacy Policy. Mandatory statutory provisions shall prevail, followed by a valid specific agreement and the details of the accepted Order, in accordance with the order of precedence in the Terms. Subsequent amendments shall not apply retrospectively to an accepted Order without valid agreement or a legal requirement. Before purchase, the product page or approved Quotation shall identify the Seller, warranty provider, warranty period, scope and claim procedure. This Policy does not represent that Disty is an authorised agent for every brand or that all products carry a single commercial warranty.
Electrical and electronic appliances covered by statutory warranty requirements shall carry a warranty of at least two years, subject to any longer advertised or legally required period. The start of the period shall be determined by the documents and provisions applicable to the product; delayed delivery shall not be used to shorten a mandatory period. The regional version, authorised-agent coverage and material restrictions must be disclosed before contracting. The Seller’s statutory liability shall not be extinguished because a foreign manufacturer’s warranty is shorter or does not apply within the Kingdom.
The warranty covers product defects within the scope of applicable law and valid warranty terms. Appropriate conditions shall be specified for appliances, accessories, batteries, consumables and software according to their nature, without a general exclusion removing a statutory right. Depleted ink or normal wear does not, of itself, constitute a defect; manufacturing-defect and non-conformity claims remain available. Conformity and safety requirements and any official product recall shall be observed.
Contact support, the account manager or the identified warranty provider, supplying the Order number or reasonable proof of purchase, the serial number where available, a description of the fault, the date it occurred and available evidence. Claims shall not be rejected categorically merely because a paper invoice has been lost if the purchase can be reliably verified. Original packaging is not an absolute condition for accepting a covered defect claim.
We shall identify the inspecting party and the handover location or transport arrangements, as appropriate. Receipt of the device, its visible condition, serial number, accessories and reported fault shall be documented. The expected inspection or repair period shall be explained, and the Customer notified of delays and their causes. Inspection fees or charges for paid repairs shall not be imposed without explaining their basis and obtaining the necessary approval in advance. The Customer shall not bear charges that ought to be covered by a valid claim.
The remedy due shall be provided according to the circumstances, including repair, replacement, refund or a price reduction where permitted or required by law. The Customer shall not be confined to repeated repairs where a right to replacement or refund has arisen. Rights relating to recurring faults, a temporary substitute product or compensation, and maintenance and spare-parts deadlines, shall apply where their statutory conditions are met. The warranty shall be extended by the period of delay required to be counted in supplying spare parts or commencing and completing maintenance under the applicable provisions, with a record of the periods and actions retained.
Damage actually caused by misuse, storage, incorrect installation, liquids, unsuitable voltage or unauthorised repair may be excluded to the extent its connection with the fault and the valid warranty conditions is established. A prior repair, scratch or event unrelated to the defect does not automatically cancel the entire warranty. Use of a third party’s accessory or material alone is not a general ground to remove coverage without an established connection or applicable statutory condition.
Back up your data and remove SIM cards, memory cards, accounts and locks where possible, unless needed for inspection under an agreed secure procedure. Do not send passwords through public channels. The Customer shall be informed if repair may require data erasure. Processing and access shall be limited to what is necessary for the service under the Privacy Policy. Responsibility for backups does not exempt the service provider from unlawful disclosure or destruction attributable to it.
If the circumstances are not covered, the reason, inspection findings and proposed cost shall be explained before any paid work. The Customer may accept or reject the offer, subject only to settlement of charges previously and validly agreed. When the device is returned, the work performed, parts replaced, inspection outcome and effect on the warranty shall be explained in accordance with the applicable provisions. An uncollected device shall not be disposed of without notices and a lawful procedure.
For Marketplace Products, the Seller and warranty provider shall fulfil their obligations, and Disty shall follow up in accordance with its role without excluding its own liability. Referring the Customer to an authorised service centre does not prevent exercise of a statutory right against the Seller, and the centre’s decision does not preclude a challenge. For commercial resale, warranty transferability and the supporting evidence shall be disclosed before contracting, without prejudice to the Retailer’s obligations to its customers. Amounts due shall be handled under the Refund Policy. For assistance, contact support or the account manager through authorised channels, email info@disty.app or call 920027744. Provide the Order number, a description of the issue and available evidence. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or full payment-card details. Reports and complaints may be submitted directly to the competent authorities; exhaustion of Disty’s internal procedures is not required.
